Jessie Guthrie Stanham was the daughter of George Gordon Stanham.2 She married Sir George Wyatt Truscott, 1st Bt., son of Sir Francis Wyatt Truscott and Eliza Freeman, on 26 October 1889.1 She died on 3 August 1921.1
She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From 26 October 1889, her married name became Truscott.

Lieutenant Francis George Truscott was born on 12 August 1894.1 He was the son of Sir George Wyatt Truscott, 1st Bt. and Jessie Guthrie Stanham.2 He died on 6 April 1917 at age 22, killed in aerial battle.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment and 47th (London) Division Cyclist Company Division Mounted Troops (Territorial Forces), attached to the Royal Flying Corps.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
