Sir Henry Douglas Edward Scott, 4th Bt. was born on 26 March 1964.1 He is the son of Sir Anthony Percy Scott, 3rd Bt. and Caroline Theresa Anne Bacon.2 He married Carole Ruth Maddick, daughter of Derek Maddick, in 1993.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He lived in 2003 at 46 Ashburnham Mansions, Ashburnham Road, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Scott, of Witley, Surrey [U.K., 1913] on 27 March 2019.

Rear-Admiral Sir Percy Moreton Scott, 1st Bt. was born on 10 July 1853.1 He was the son of Montagu Scott.2 He married, firstly, Teresa Roma Dixon-Hartland, daughter of Sir Frederick Dixon-Hartland, 1st and last Bt., on 10 January 1893.1 He and Teresa Roma Dixon-Hartland were divorced in 1911.1 He married, secondly, Fanny Vaughan Johnston Dennis, daughter of Thomas Ramsay Dennis, on 23 March 1914.1 He died on 18 October 1924 at age 71.1

Teresa Roma Dixon-Hartland was the daughter of Sir Frederick Dixon-Hartland, 1st and last Bt.2 She married Rear-Admiral Sir Percy Moreton Scott, 1st Bt., son of Montagu Scott, on 10 January 1893.1 She and Rear-Admiral Sir Percy Moreton Scott, 1st Bt. were divorced in 1911.1 She died on 20 March 1928.1
