     Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt. was born on 4 February 1817.1 He was the son of Sir Hungerford Hoskyns, 7th Bt. and Sarah Philips.2 He married Phyllis Emma Peyton, daughter of Sir John Strutt Peyton, on 22 April 1846.1 He died in 1911.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a Fellow at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1845 and 1911 at Aston Tirrold, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Hoskyns, of Harewood, co. Hereford [E., 1676] on 1 November 1877.1 He held the office of Hon. Canon of Christ Church, Oxford in 1880.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1

     Phyllis Emma Peyton was the daughter of Sir John Strutt Peyton.2 She married Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt., son of Sir Hungerford Hoskyns, 7th Bt. and Sarah Philips, on 22 April 1846.1 She died on 7 May 1914.1
     From 22 April 1846, her married name became Hoskyns.

     John Hoskyns was born on 28 April 1848.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt. and Phyllis Emma Peyton.2 He died on 13 March 1887 at age 38, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 24th Regiment.1

Colonel Sir Chandos Hoskyns, 10th Bt.1

     Colonel Sir Chandos Hoskyns, 10th Bt. was born on 28 April 1848.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt. and Phyllis Emma Peyton.2 He married Jean Bannatyne Latham, daughter of David MacDuff Latham, on 22 July 1886.1 He died on 22 July 1914 at age 66.1
     He fought in the Jowaki Campaign in 1877.1 He fought in the Afghan Campaign between 1878 and 1880, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Zhob Valley Expedition in 1884.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hoskyns, of Harewood, co. Hereford [E., 1676] in 1911.1

     From 22 July 1886, her married name became Hoskyns.

     Euphemia Hoskyns is the daughter of Colonel Sir Chandos Hoskyns, 10th Bt. and Jean Bannatyne Latham.2 She married Colonel Robert Francis Hurter Wallace of that Ilk, son of Colonel Charles Tennant Wallace and Mary von Hurter-Ammann, on 21 September 1920.2
     From 21 September 1920, her married name became Wallace.1
