     Sir John Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave, 1st Bt. was born on 24 July 1845.¹ He was the son of Allan Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave and Agnes Strang.² He married Henrietta Gilmour, daughter of David Gilmour, on 18 September 1873.¹ He died on 20 July 1920 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Gilmour, of Lundin and Montrave, co. Fife [U.K.] on 1 September 1897.¹

     Allen Gilmour was born on 19 January 1848.¹ He was the son of Allan Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave and Agnes Strang.² He died on 4 July 1870 at age 22, unmarried.¹

     Agnes Gilmour was born on 13 February 1840.¹ She was the daughter of Allan Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave and Agnes Strang.² She died on 12 November 1840.¹

     Mary Gilmour was the daughter of Allan Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave and Agnes Strang.² She married David Turnbull on 1 December 1871.¹ She died on 4 February 1899.¹
     From 1 December 1871, her married name became Turnbull.
