     Owen James Esmonde was born on 15 May 1905.¹ He was the son of John Joseph Esmonde and Eily O'Sullivan.² He married Eira Margaret Antonia Mackenzie, daughter of George Henry Louis Mackenzie and Lilian Mary Pope, on 19 February 1938.¹ He died on 23 August 1993 at age 88.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was Officer with the Australian Department of External Affairs.¹

     George Henry Louis Mackenzie was born on 27 May 1872.² He is the son of Henry Augustin Ornano Mackenzie and Mary Anne Botte.² He married Lilian Mary Pope, daughter of Richard Rodney Pope, on 23 January 1907.² He died on 10 May 1960 at age 87.²

     Eira Margaret Antonia Mackenzie was born on 25 February 1913.¹ She is the daughter of George Henry Louis Mackenzie and Lilian Mary Pope.² She married Owen James Esmonde, son of John Joseph Esmonde and Eily O'Sullivan, on 19 February 1938.²

     Eugene Patrick Mackenzie Esmonde was born on 22 August 1942.¹ He is the son of Owen James Esmonde and Eira Margaret Antonia Mackenzie.² He married Jennifer Ann Sharpe, daughter of Sir Frank Victor Sharpe, in 1972.¹
     He was educated at Blackrock College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Christian Brothers School, A.C.T., Australia.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Duntroon, A.C.T., Australia^G.¹ He graduated from Queensland University, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia^G, with a Bachelor of Economics (B.Econ.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Australian Artillery.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding Northern Command in 1968.¹ He fought in the Vietnam War.¹ He retired from the military in 1981, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Royal Australian Artillery.¹ He was managing director of Sharpe Group in 1982.¹ He lived in 2003 at Tinarra, 63 Wellington Street, Clayfield, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Sir Frank Victor Sharpe was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He lived at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Jennifer Ann Sharpe is the daughter of Sir Frank Victor Sharpe.² She married Eugene Patrick Mackenzie Esmonde, son of Owen James Esmonde and Eira Margaret Antonia Mackenzie, in 1972.¹
     From 1972, her married name became Esmonde.

     Godfrey Christian Esmonde was born in 1980.¹ He is the son of Eugene Patrick Mackenzie Esmonde and Jennifer Ann Sharpe.²
