     Reverend Joseph James Curling lived at Hamble, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard Robinson Curling was the son of Reverend Joseph James Curling.² He married Victoria Margaret Curtis, daughter of Sir William Michael Curtis, 4th Bt. and Georgina Mary Howard, on 29 April 1920.¹ He died on 10 September 1953.¹
     He lived at The Old Rectory, Bursledon, Hampshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 60th Rifles.¹

     Margaret Helena Marie Candy was the daughter of Charles Candy.² She married Philip Julian Curtis, son of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton, on 7 December 1875 at London, England.¹ She died on 11 December 1932.¹
     From 7 December 1875, her married name became Curtis.

     Margaret Kathleen Curtis was born on 6 October 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Julian Curtis and Margaret Helena Marie Candy.²
