     Frederick Charles Palmer was born on 3 December 1884.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Molyneux Palmer, 3rd Bt. and Ellen Edith Young.2 He married Mabel Frances Hughes-Hallett, daughter of Norton Joseph Hughes-Hallett, on 7 October 1913.1 He died on 29 March 1931 at age 46.1

     Sir Alfred Molyneux Palmer, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 June 1853.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Mark Palmer, 1st Bt. and Jane Robson.2 He married Ellen Edith Young, daughter of Frederick George Younge and Emma Jane Corri, on 31 March 1884.3 He died on 9 August 1935 at age 82.3
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.3 He was Chartered Accountant (C.A.) at County Durham, England.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Jarrow.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Palmer, of Grinkle Park, co. York and of Newcastle-under-Tyne [U.K., 1886] on 23 August 1910.3 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1915.3

     Sir Charles Mark Palmer, 1st Bt. was born on 3 November 1822.2 He was the son of George Palmer and Maria Taylor.3 He married, firstly, Jane Robson, daughter of Ebenezer Robson, on 29 July 1846.2 He married, secondly, Augusta Mary Lambert, daughter of Alfred Lambert, on 4 July 1867.2 He married, thirdly, Gertrude Montgomery, daughter of James Montgomery, on 17 February 1877.2 He died on 4 June 1907 at age 84.2
     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the First Durham Royal Engineer Volunteers and Submarine Mining Volunteer Royal Engineers.2 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.)2 He was director of the Suez Canal Company.2 He and George Palmer were co-founder of Palmer's Shipbuilding & Iron Company in 1852.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Durham and North Riding of Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Durham between 1874 and 1875.2 He held the office of Mayor of Jarrow in 1875.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Jarrow between 1885 and 1907.2 He was created 1st Baronet Palmer, of Grinkle Park, co. York and of Newcastle-under-Tyne [U.K.] on 31 August 1886.2 He held the office of Mayor of Jarrow between 1902 and 1903.2 He was appointed Commander, Order Saints Maurice and Lazarus at Italy.2

     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lechmere, of The Rhydd, co.
