     Sir Francis Winnington was born on 7 November 1635 at Worcester, Worcestershire, England.1,2 He was the son of Francis Winnington.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Herbert.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Salwey, daughter of unknown Salwey.1 He died on 1 May 1700 at age 64.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Worcester.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tewkesbury.1 He held the office of Solicitor-General.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was appointed Knight on 17 December 1672.2
