     Jane Hewett was the daughter of James Hewett.² She married Edward Dyer, son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Smith, on 10 October 1801.¹ She died on 1 April 1861.¹
     From 10 October 1801, her married name became Dyer.

     Edward Dyer was born on 5 December 1802 at Heleford, London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Dyer and Jane Hewett.³ He married Penelope Jane Boydell, daughter of Colonel John North Boydell, on 5 February 1824.¹ He died on 29 April 1886 at age 83.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Madras Army.¹

     Penelope Jane Boydell was born circa 1803 at Paddington, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of Colonel John North Boydell.³ She married Edward Dyer, son of Edward Dyer and Jane Hewett, on 5 February 1824.¹ She died on 1 June 1884.¹
     From 5 February 1824, her married name became Dyer.

     Archibald Thomas Bergman Dyer was born on 4 December 1838.¹ He was the son of Edward Dyer and Penelope Jane Boydell.² He married Mary Anne Clark, daughter of John Clark, on 8 March 1863.¹ He died on 22 December 1914 at age 76, with other issue:.¹

     Mary Anne Clark is the daughter of John Clark.² She married Archibald Thomas Bergman Dyer, son of Edward Dyer and Penelope Jane Boydell, on 8 March 1863.¹
     From 8 March 1863, her married name became Dyer.

     William Frederick Dyer was born in 1864.¹ He was the son of Archibald Thomas Bergman Dyer and Mary Anne Clark.² He died in 1887.¹

     unknown daughter Dyer was born posthumously.¹ She is the daughter of William Frederick Dyer.²

     Herbert Edward Dyer was born in 1869.¹ He was the son of Archibald Thomas Bergman Dyer and Mary Anne Clark.² He married Mildred Baldwin in 1901.¹
