     Sir George Gordon Vereker was born on 11 December 1889.1 He was the son of George Medlicott Vereker and Frances Gore Manders.2 He married, firstly, Marjorie Rosamond Seton Dower Mulliner, daughter of Colonel Herbert Hall Mulliner, on 27 March 1928.1 He married, secondly, Roxana Wentworth Bowen, daughter of Clarence Winthrop Bowen, on 17 February 1945.1 He died on 14 March 1976 at age 86, without issue.1
