Joan Roche was the daughter of Maurice Roche, 2nd Lord Roche of Fermoy.2 She married James de Courcy, 6th Lord Courcy of Kinsale, son of Nicholas de Courcy, 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Móre Finn, on 14 August 1465.1 She died in 1499.1

James de Courcy, 6th Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of Nicholas de Courcy, 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Móre Finn.2 He married Joan Roche, daughter of Maurice Roche, 2nd Lord Roche of Fermoy, on 14 August 1465.1 He died in 1499.3
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] in 1474.1 On 28 June 1487 he submitted at Kinsale to Sir Richard Edgecumbe after taking part in Lambert Sinnel's imposture.1 In 1496 he was pardoned.1

Edmund de Courcy, 7th Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of James de Courcy, 6th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Joan Roche.2 He died, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 7th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] in 1499.3 Circa 1500 he was displaced by his uncle David, as result of his idiocy.1
