     Reverend William Agar Adamson was born on 21 November 1800 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of James Agar Adamson.² He married Sarah Walsh in 1824.² He died on 7 August 1868 at age 67 at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.²
     He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1821 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Curate between 1824 and 1833 at Lockeen, County Offaly, Ireland.² He was Vicar between 1833 and 1838 at Clonlen, County Clare, Ireland.² He was Rector between 1838 and 1840 at Kilcooly, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He was Chaplain and Librarian to the Legislative Council of Canada between 1841 and 1867.¹ He wrote the book Salmon-fishing in Canada, published 1860.²

     Lt.-Col. John Waller de Courcy O'Grady was born on 26 September 1854.¹ He was the son of Reverend Gerald de Courcy O'Grady and Charlotte Knox Adamson.¹ He married Catherine Frances Maunsell, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Joseph Stopford Maunsell and Anna Jane Enraght-Moony, on 3 June 1885.¹ He died on 2 November 1914 at age 60.¹
     He was educated at Bishop's College School, Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He was managing director of Northern Crown Bank between 1905 and 1914 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada^G.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 90th Winnipeg Rifles in 1914.¹

     Catherine Frances Maunsell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. George Joseph Stopford Maunsell and Anna Jane Enraght-Moony.² She married Lt.-Col. John Waller de Courcy O'Grady, son of Reverend Gerald de Courcy O'Grady and Charlotte Knox Adamson, on 3 June 1885.² She died on 2 December 1947.²
     From 3 June 1885, her married name became O'Grady.²

     Lt.-Col. Gerald Francis de Courcy O'Grady was born on 10 August 1887.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Waller de Courcy O'Grady and Catherine Frances Maunsell.¹ He married Elsie May Patton, daughter of Frank Lawrence Patton, on 31 March 1917.¹ He died on 8 February 1970 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Upper Canada College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He graduated from University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G, in 1909 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor in 1913 at Manitoba, Canada^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded three times.¹ He was vice-president of the Winnipeg Board of Trade.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 90th Winnipeg Rifles.¹

     Elsie May Patton is the daughter of Frank Lawrence Patton.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Gerald Francis de Courcy O'Grady, son of Lt.-Col. John Waller de Courcy O'Grady and Catherine Frances Maunsell, on 31 March 1917.¹
     From 31 March 1917, her married name became O'Grady.¹ She lived in 1976 at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada^G.¹
