     Charlotte Louisa Auriol was the daughter of J. Auriol.² She married Thomas Dashwood, son of Sir James Dashwood, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Spencer, on 23 February 1782.¹ She died on 10 January 1833.¹
     Her married name became Dashwood.

     Ernest James Robinson married Kathleen Ruth Crofton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hugh Augustus Crofton and Amelia Harriet Farquharson, on 22 November 1881. He and Kathleen Ruth Crofton were divorced in 1888.

     Captain James Montgomerie Caulfeild was born on 22 February 1855.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Montgomerie Stewart Caulfeild and Dorothea Jane French.² He married Kathleen Ruth Crofton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hugh Augustus Crofton and Amelia Harriet Farquharson, on 6 February 1889.² He died on 26 October 1946 at age 91, without issue.²
     He fought in the Egyptian War in 1882.¹ He fought in the Sudan Campaign between 1883 and 1884.² In 1894 he was on the Boundary Survey between Cameroons and the Niger Coast Protectorate.² He fought in the Brass River Punitive Expedition in 1895.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.² He was Harbour Master at Mauritius^G.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Augustus Crofton was born on 6 June 1829.² He was the son of Reverend Augustus Crofton and Charlotte Kirwan.² He married, firstly, Amelia Harriet Farquharson, daughter of Captain Charles Farquharson, on 7 February 1856.² He married, secondly, Joan Ruby Mackintosh, daughter of Donald Mackintosh, on 20 July 1892.² He died on 7 April 1901 at age 71.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the 6th and 10th Regiments.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Sussex Volunteers.²
