     Hon. Elspeth Ruth Shaw was born on 17 February 1921.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Shaw, 2nd Baron Craigmyle and Lady Margaret Cargill Mackay.² She married Archibald James Florence Macdonald, son of Dr. G. B. D. Macdonald, on 12 September 1945.¹ She died on 11 June 2006 at age 85.
