John Blakeney was born in 1649.2 He was the son of Major Robert Blakeney and Susannah Ormsby.1 He married Sarah Persse, daughter of Very Rev. Dudley Persse and Sarah Crofton, in 1671.2 He died in 1691.2 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 19 April 1691.2
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1671 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 On 5 December 1688 The family estates granted by Cromwell were confirmed by King Charles II by Letters Patent.2 He lived at Castle Blakeney, County Galway, IrelandG.2

Captain Robert Blakeney was born in 1657.1 He was the son of Major Robert Blakeney and Susannah Ormsby.1 He married Elizabeth Rogers in a childless marriage.1 He died on 12 October 1731.1
