     Joseph Henry Blake, 2nd Baron Wallscourt was born on 23 July 1795.¹ He was the son of Captain Ignatius Charles Blake and Helen Cashel.¹ He died on 11 October 1816 at age 21, unmarried, he was succeeded by his cousin.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Wallscourt, of Ardfrey, co. Galway [I., 1800] on 28 May 1803.¹

     Louisa Helena Blake was the daughter of Captain Ignatius Charles Blake and Helen Cashel.¹ She married Captain R. Bourne on 21 December 1816.¹ She died on 15 February 1863.¹

     She lived in 1851 at St. Edmund, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.^4,5 She emigrated to New Zealand^G arriving on 1852.⁵ From 1866, her married name became Meinertzhagen.¹ She lived in 1871 at Wandsworth All Saints, London, England^G, over from New Zealand staying with Mother in Law.^2,5

     Anne French was the daughter of John French.¹ She married Colonel Henry James Blake, son of Joseph Blake and Honoria Daly, on 14 February 1796.¹
     From 14 February 1796, her married name became Blake.¹

     John French lived at Galway, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Gertrude Ellen Meinertzhagen was born on 10 July 1869 at Waimarama, New Zealand^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Frederick Huth Meinertzhagen and Ellen Moore.¹ She died on 1 August 1937 at age 68.³

     Elizabeth Lock also went by the nick-name of Bessie.¹ She was a famous beauty painted by Lawrence.¹ From 23 September 1822, her married name became Blake.¹ After her marriage, Elizabeth Lock was styled as Baroness of Wallscourt on 23 September 1822.¹
