Captain Franc Digby Colclough was born on 22 April 1853.1 He was the son of Francis Marsh Biddulph and Lucy Bickerstaffe.1 He married Louisa Maria Susanna Rossborough, daughter of Thomas Rossborough-Colclough and Mary Gray Wentworth Colclough, on 15 September 1885.1 He died on 13 July 1895 at age 42.1
