     He was educated at Shandon School, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was a mechanical engineer in the Gold Coast and Middle East.¹ As of 1976, Francis Arthur Beamish lived at 18 Francis Road, Horndean, Hampshire, England^G.¹
