     Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle was born on 2 June 1904.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Sydney Robert Fremantle and Lelia Hope Fremantle.¹ He married, firstly, Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair, daughter of Major W. M. Sinclair, on 26 June 1928.¹ He and Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair were divorced in 1943.¹ He married, secondly, Edna Maud Cusselle, daughter of Albert John Tweed Cusselle, on 3 April 1946.¹ He died in 1980.¹
     He fought in the Second World, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1944.¹

     Major W. M. Sinclair was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Marines.¹

     Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair was the daughter of Major W. M. Sinclair.¹ She married Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle, son of Admiral Sir Sydney Robert Fremantle and Lelia Hope Fremantle, on 26 June 1928.¹ She and Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle were divorced in 1943.¹ She died in 1980.¹
     From 26 June 1928, her married name became Fremantle.

     Robert Edmund Sinclair Fremantle was born on 27 June 1929.¹ He was the son of Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle and Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair.¹ He died on 18 March 1930.¹

     Charles Alan Fremantle was born on 20 February 1935.¹ He is the son of Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle and Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair.¹ He married Caroline Mary Morant, daughter of Commander Sydney Andrew Boyd Morant, on 30 July 1960.¹
     He was educated at Sutton Valence School, Maidstone, Kent, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was membber of the North Wiltshire District between 1987 and 1991.¹ He lived in 2003 at Langley Corner, Langley Burrell, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Caroline Mary Morant is the daughter of Commander Sydney Andrew Boyd Morant.¹ She married Charles Alan Fremantle, son of Commander Edmund Seymour Denis Fremantle and Dorothy Clare Haldane Sinclair, on 30 July 1960.¹
     From 30 July 1960, her married name became Fremantle.

     Timothy Charles Fremantle was born on 13 June 1967.¹ He is the son of Charles Alan Fremantle and Caroline Mary Morant.¹ He married Lynn K. Haslam, daughter of David Haslam.²
