Alexander Kelvin Montgomerie was born in 1922.1 He was the son of Alexander James Montgomerie and Winifred Jane Gifford.2 He married Doreen Evelyn Price, daughter of Captain G. Price, in 1958.1 He died on 30 October 2012.3
He fought in the Second World War, in the New Zealand Scottish Regiment and Royal New Zealand Navy.1 He lived in 2003 at 35 Washington Avenue, St. Heliers, Auckland, New ZealandG.1
