     Ethel Lucy Wheeler was the daughter of Alfred Wheeler.² She married Sir James Laurence Cotter, 5th Bt., son of James Lombard Cotter and Claire Mary Segrave, on 6 August 1908.¹ She and Sir James Laurence Cotter, 5th Bt. were divorced in 1924.¹ She died on 12 April 1956.¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir Delaval James Alfred Cotter, 6th Bt. was born on 29 April 1911.¹ He was the son of Sir James Laurence Cotter, 5th Bt. and Ethel Lucy Wheeler.² He married, firstly, Roma Rome, daughter of Adrian Rome, on 29 September 1943.¹ He and Roma Rome were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Eveline Mary Mardon, daughter of Evelyn John Mardon, on 9 December 1952.¹ He died on 2 April 2001 at age 89.¹
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cotter, of Rockforest, co. Cork [I., 1763] on 22 August 1924.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in North-West Europe.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1944 in the 13th/18th Royal Hussars.¹ He was commander of the 13th/18th Royal Hussars between 1953 and 1956.¹ He retired from the military in 1959.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire in 1962.¹

     Laurence Stopford Llewellyn Cotter was born on 22 August 1912.¹ He was the son of Sir James Laurence Cotter, 5th Bt. and Ethel Lucy Wheeler.² He married Grace Mary Downing, daughter of Ivor Vincent Downing, on 13 March 1935.¹ He died on 10 July 1943 at age 30 at Sicily, Italy^G, killed in action.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Trooper in the Royal Tank Regiment.³ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Ivor Vincent Downing lived at Llanishen, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Grace Mary Downing is the daughter of Ivor Vincent Downing.² She married, firstly, Laurence Stopford Llewellyn Cotter, son of Sir James Laurence Cotter, 5th Bt. and Ethel Lucy Wheeler, on 13 March 1935.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Rittson Thomas on 6 September 1945.¹
     From 13 March 1935, her married name became Cotter. From 6 September 1945, her married name became Thomas.¹

     Patrick Cotter is the son of Edmond Cotter and Ellen Sarsfield.¹

     Peta Natalie Cotter was born on 6 November 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Laurence Stopford Llewellyn Cotter and Grace Mary Downing.² She married George Derek Wilson, son of G. R. Wilson, on 8 July 1963.¹ She and George Derek Wilson were divorced in 1972.¹
     From 8 July 1963, her married name became Wilson.

     G. R. Wilson lived at Park Road, West Hartlepool, County Durham, England^G.¹

     George Derek Wilson is the son of G. R. Wilson.² He married Peta Natalie Cotter, daughter of Laurence Stopford Llewellyn Cotter and Grace Mary Downing, on 8 July 1963.¹ He and Peta Natalie Cotter were divorced in 1972.¹

     Paul Sean Wilson was born on 20 August 1964.¹ He is the son of George Derek Wilson and Peta Natalie Cotter.²
