     Lt.-Col. Angus Campbell, 4th of Kilberry was born circa 1624.² He was the son of Dugald Campbell, 3rd of Kilberry and unknown daughter Macdonald.^1,2 He married unknown daughter Campbell, daughter of Dougall Campbell, 6th of Inverawe and Agnes Campbell, circa 1656.² He died in 1699.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Argyllshire Regiment.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Duke of Monmouth.²

     Catherine Philpot was the daughter of William Philpot.¹ She married William Allen, son of Philip Allen and Margaret Purcell, on 29 June 1767.¹ She died on 31 March 1837, aged 91.¹
     From 29 June 1767, her married name became Allen.¹
