     Rear-Admiral Charles William Winnington-Ingram was born on 7 June 1856.¹ He was the son of Reverend Edward Winnington-Ingram and Maria Louisa Pepys.² He married Ida Vere Maude Chambers, daughter of Charles Harcourt Chambers, on 6 February 1894.¹ He died on 18 January 1923 at age 66.¹
