     Sir Richard Antony Purbeck Temple, 4th Bt. was born on 19 January 1913.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Durand Temple, 3rd Bt. and Katherine Marjorie Williams.2 He married, firstly, Lucy Geils de Lotbinière, daughter of Alain Joly de Lotbinière, 8th Seigneur Pointe Platon, on 24 September 1936.2 He and Lucy Geils de Lotbinière were divorced in 1946.2 He married, secondly, Jean Finnie, daughter of James Thompson Finnie, on 25 March 1950.2 He died on 5 December 2007 at age 94.3
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was educated at Lausanne University, Lausanne, SwitzerlandG.2 He fought in the Second World War, wher he was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1941.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Temple, of The Nash, Kempsey, co. Worcester [U.K., 1876] on 15 September 1962.2
