Cecil William Norton, 1st Baron Rathcreedan was born on 23 June 1850.1 He was the son of Reverend William Norton and Caroline Theresa Riddock.2,3 He married, firstly, Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy, daughter of James Kennedy, on 18 August 1880.1 He married, secondly, Marguerite Cecil Huntington, daughter of Sir Charles Philip Huntington, 1st Bt., on 21 July 1903.1 He died on 7 December 1930 at age 80.1
He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Lancers.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Brigade-Major of Cavalry, late of the Aldershot.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newington West between 1892 and 1916.2 He held the office of Junior Lord of Treasury between 1905 and 1910.1 He was Assistant Postmaster-General between 1910 and 1916.1 He was created 1st Baron Rathcreedan, of Bellehatch Park, co. Oxford [U.K.] on 27 January 1916.1 He was Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Munitions between 1919 and 1922.1

Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark was born on 18 May 1876.1 He was the son of William Thomas Cavendish and Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy.1 He married, firstly, Isabel Emilie Jay, daughter of John Wimburn Jay, on 16 April 1902.1 He and Isabel Emilie Jay were divorced in 1906.1 He married, secondly, May Burbidge, daughter of William Ernest Burbidge, on 12 December 1906.1 He married, thirdly, Elise Herran, daughter of Emmanuel Adolphe Herran, on 30 August 1913 at Kingston, Surrey, England.1 He and Elise Herran were divorced in 1919.1 He married, fourthly, Georgette Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier, daughter of Ivan Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier, on 2 June 1920.1 He and Georgette Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier were divorced in 1929.1 He married, fifthly, Jeanne Lassallette, daughter of Pierre Lassallette, on 7 August 1929.1 He died on 26 November 1948 at age 72, without male issue.1

Isabel Emilie Jay was the daughter of John Wimburn Jay.1 She married Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark, son of William Thomas Cavendish and Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy, on 16 April 1902.1 She and Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark were divorced in 1906.1 She died on 26 February 1927.1
