     Mary Florence Clixby was the daughter of Joseph Clixby.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Sheppard Cockayne in 1881.¹ She married, secondly, George Gordon, 2nd Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair, son of John Campbell Hamilton-Gordon, 1st Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair and Dame Isabel Maria Marjoribanks, on 6 August 1906 at Scottish Presbyterian Church of St. Columba, Pont Street, Chelsea, London, England^G.¹ She died on 5 January 1937, without issue.^2,3 She was buried on 7 January 1937.²
