John Cornwallis was the son of Thomas Cornwalleys.2 He married Philippa Bucton, daughter of Robert Bucton.1 He died in 1446.1
He acquired the manorial lordships of Bro(o)me and Oakley, Suffolk through his wife.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk, during King Richard II's reign.1
