He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th Royal Hussars.1 He lived in 2003 at The White House, Puddletown, Dorset, EnglandG.1
