Robert Essington Negus was born on 4 May 1884 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Addison Negus and Edith Mary Brace.3,2 He married Edith Maud Cooper, daughter of Sir Richard Powell Cooper, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Ashmall, on 20 July 1910.1 He died on 5 May 1970 at age 86 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the North Staffordshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1

     Alice Elizabeth Priestland was born circa 1879.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Edward Priestland and Lucy Mary Gascoigne.3,1 She married Sir Richard Ashmole Cooper, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Richard Powell Cooper, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Ashmall, on 18 April 1900.1 She died on 12 January 1963.1
     From 18 April 1900, her married name became Cooper.

     Sir William Herbert Cooper, 3rd Bt. was born on 7 March 1901.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Ashmole Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Priestland.2 He married Eileen Dolores Patricia Hayes, daughter of G. P. Hayes, on 1 March 1948.1 He died on 8 June 1970 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, New ZealandG.1 He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was Master of the Foxhounds, Hertfordshire between 1927 and 1928.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, in the Royal Observer Corps and Royal Air Force.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cooper, of Shenstone Court, Shenstone, co. Staffs [U.K., 1905] on 5 March 1946.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1956.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1957.1
