     Frances Daniell is the daughter of William Daniell.¹

     William Daniell lived at Preshure, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Hugh Fraser, 5th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat was the son of Alexander Fraser, 4th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Janet Campbell.² He married Lady Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, on 24 December 1567.³ He died between 1 January 1576 and 1577. He died on 1 January 1576, with an eldest and youngest son (both d in infancy) and three other daughters:.¹
     Hugh Fraser, 5th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat also went by the nick-name of Uisdean 'Ruadh' (or in English, 'the Red.¹') He succeeded as the 5th Lord Lovat [S., c. 1464] in December 1557.¹

     James Stewart, 1st and last Earl of Arran was the son of Andrew Stewart, 2nd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree and Agnes Cuninghame.^2,3 He married Lady Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, on 6 July 1581.¹ He died on 5 December 1595 at Symontown, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G, killed by Sir James Douglas, in revenge for the death of his uncle, 4th Earl of Morton.⁴
     Before 1579 he served the States of Holland against the Spanish.² In 1579 he returned to Scotland.² He held the office of Gentleman of the Bedchamber to King James VI.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland]² He was a favourite of King James VI.¹ He was created 1st Earl of Arran [Scotland] on 28 October 1581.² He was created 1st Lord of Avane and Hamilton [Scotland] on 28 October 1581.² He held the office of Chancellor of Scotland in February 1584.⁴ In November 1585 he was declared an enemy of his country and was attainted.¹ He lived at Bothwellmuir, Scotland^G.²

     Thomas Stapleton was born on 28 April 1778.¹ He was the son of Miles Stapleton and Lady Mary Bertie.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Juliana Gerard, daughter of Sir Robert Cansfield Gerard, 9th Bt., on 3 November 1802.² He married, secondly, Henrietta Lavinia Anster, daughter of Richard Fitzgerald Anster, on 29 September 1829.¹ He died on 4 July 1839 at age 61.²
     He lived at the Grove, Yorkshire, England^G.² He lived at Carlton, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Mary Juliana Gerard was the daughter of Sir Robert Cansfield Gerard, 9th Bt.¹ She married Thomas Stapleton, son of Miles Stapleton and Lady Mary Bertie, on 3 November 1802.¹ She died on 9 February 1827.²
     Her married name became Stapleton.

     Sir Robert Cansfield Gerard, 9th Bt. was born after 1723. He was the son of Sir William Gerard, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Clifton.² He married Catherine Anderton, daughter of William Anderton and Hon. Mary Molyneux, in 1770.³ He died on 6 March 1784.³
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Gerard, of Bryn, co. Palatine of Lancaster [E., 1611] on 25 June 1780.¹

     Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont was born on 4 June 1805 at Richmond, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Thomas Stapleton and Mary Juliana Gerard.¹ He married Hon. Isabella Ann Browne, daughter of John Cavendish Browne, 3rd Baron Kilmaine and Elizabeth Lyon, on 9 September 1844 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He died on 16 August 1854 at age 49 at Bruton Street, London, England^G, from inflammation of the bowels.² His will was proven (by probate) in October 1854.² He was buried at Carlton Parish Church, Carlton, Yorkshire, England^G.³
     He succeeded as the 8th Baron Beaumont [E., 1309] on 16 July 1840, after the abeyance of this Barony was terminated in his favour, with a precedency of 1432.¹ He lived at Carlton Towers, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Violet Elise Marie Louise Isaacson was born in 1861 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Frederick Wootton Isaacson and Elizabeth Marie Louise Jaeger.¹ She married Henry Stapleton, 9th Baron Beaumont, son of Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont and Hon. Isabella Ann Browne, on 28 July 1888 at Roman Catholic Oratory, Brompton, London, England^G.¹ She died on 16 March 1910.³
     After her marriage, Violet Elise Marie Louise Isaacson was styled as Baroness Beaumont on 28 July 1888.¹ From 28 July 1888, her married name became Stapleton.

     Henry Stapleton, 9th Baron Beaumont was born on 11 August 1848 at Curzon Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont and Hon. Isabella Ann Browne.¹ He married Violet Elise Marie Louise Isaacson, daughter of Frederick Wootton Isaacson and Elizabeth Marie Louise Jaeger, on 28 July 1888 at Roman Catholic Oratory, Brompton, London, England^G.¹ He died on 23 January 1892 at age 43 at 10 Wyndham Place, Marylebone, London, England^G, without issue.¹ He was buried at Carlton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Baron Beaumont [E., 1309] on 16 August 1854.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Cornet in 1868 in the 1st Life Guards.¹ He was Roman Catholic.¹ He fought in the Zulu War in 1879, in the 17th Lancers.¹ He fought in the Battle of Ulundi in 1880.¹
