     Lt.-Col. Kenneth Capel Cure is the son of Reverend Charles Laurence Capel Cure and Ida Amy Chevalier.1 He married Ena Wombwell, daughter of George Wombwell, on 25 November 1936.1
     He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)1 He gained the rank of officer in 1933 in the Royal Air Force.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1941 in the Indian Army.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1948 in the Royal Army Service Corps.1
