Rt. Hon. George Denman was born on 23 December 1819.2 He was the son of Thomas Denman, 1st Baron Denman of Dovedale and Theodosia Anne Vevers.2 He married Charlotte Hope, daughter of Samuel Hope, on 19 February 1852.2 He died on 21 September 1896 at age 76.2
