Sir Louis Forbes Fergusson was born on 5 September 1878.1 He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Forbes.2 He married Elizabeth Frances Ethel Lewis, daughter of Seth Lewis, in 1922.1 He died on 10 January 1962 at age 83.2
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was Clerk of the Council and Keeper of the Records for the Duchy of Lancaster between 1927 and 1945.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1945.1

Lieutenant James Adam Hamilton Fergusson was born on 22 March 1892.1 He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson.2 He died in September 1914 at age 22, killed in action.1

Charles Hamilton Fergusson was born on 9 August 1894.1 He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson.2 He died on 1 January 1953 at age 58 at KenyaG, murdered by natives on his farm.1
