     Sir Charles Gerard, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Francis Gerard, 2nd Bt. He married Honora Seymour, daughter of Charles Seymour, 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Hon. Elizabeth Alington, on 9 February 1675/76.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Gerard.

Frances Seymour was the daughter of Francis Seymour, 1st Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Frances Prinne.1,3 She married William Ducie, 1st and last Viscount Downe, son of Sir Robert Ducie, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Pyott, circa 23 June 1662.1 She died circa September 1679.1 She was buried on 20 September 1679.1
     From circa 23 June 1662, her married name became Ducie.

     William Ducie, 1st and last Viscount Downe was the son of Sir Robert Ducie, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Pyott.1 He married Hon. Frances Seymour, daughter of Francis Seymour, 1st Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Frances Prinne, circa 23 June 1662.1 He died on 9 September 1679, without male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ducie [E., 1629] on 7 March 1656/57.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1661.1 He was created 1st Baron of Cloney [Ireland] on 19 July 1675.1 He was created 1st Viscount Downe [Ireland] on 19 July 1675.1 On his death, his viscountancy and barony became extinct.1

     Susannah Selina Sophia Debonnaire was born in 1756.2 She was the daughter of John Debonnaire and Jane Jones.1,2 She married, firstly, Major John Smith on 21 August 1777 at India.2 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Metcalfe, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Thomas Metcalfe and Margaret Williams, on 18 April 1782 at India.3 She died in 1815.2
     From 21 August 1777, her married name became Smith.2 From 18 April 1782, her married name became Metcalfe.3

     William Clavering-Cowper, 2nd Earl Cowper was born on 13 August 1709.2 He was the son of William Cowper, 1st Earl Cowper and Mary Clavering.3 He married, firstly, Henrietta Nassau d'Auverquerque, daughter of Henry de Nassau, 1st Earl of Grantham and Lady Henrietta Butler, on 27 June 1732.2 He married, secondly, Lady Georgiana Caroline Carteret, daughter of John Carteret, 2nd Earl Granville and Frances Worsley, on 1 May 1750.1 He died on 18 September 1764 at age 55.2
     He was given the name of William Cowper at birth.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Cowper, of Ratlin Court, co. Kent [E., 1642] on 19 October 1723.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl Cowper [G.B., 1718] on 19 October 1723.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Fordwich, co. Kent [G.B., 1718] on 19 October 1723.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Cowper, of Wingham, co.
