     She was in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.¹ From 19 January 1944, her married name became Johnston.

     Christine Anne Griffiths is the daughter of Oswald Hardy Griffiths.¹ She married Sir Christopher Collett, son of Sir Henry Seymour Collett, 2nd Bt. and Ruth Mildred Hatch, in 1959.¹
