Brigadier Cecil Thomas Dixon-Brown was born on 26 August 1894.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frank Brown.3 He married Olga Nikolaevna Demidova.3 He died on 24 July 1942 at age 47 at India, killed in an air crash.3
He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was commissioned in 1912 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal MArines.4 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Marines.1
