     Perceval Lea Dewhurst Perry, 1st and last Baron Perry was born on 18 March 1878 at Bristol, England^G.¹ He was the son of Alfred Thomas Perry and Elizabeth Wheeler.¹ He married Catherine Meals, daughter of John Meals, on 26 December 1902.¹ He died on 17 June 1956 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He wrote the book O.K. Verses, published 1906.¹ He wrote the book American Invasion, published 1912.¹ He was Director of the Food Production Department in 1916.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1917.¹ He was Director of the Agricultural Machinery Department, Ministry of Munitions between 1917 and 1918.¹ He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold of Belgium.¹ He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He was awarded the Knight Commander, Order of George I of the Hellenes.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He was a director of Ford Motor Company and Firestone Tyre and Rubber Company.¹ He wrote the book New Songs, published 1925.¹ He wrote the book Island of Enchantment, published 1926.¹ He wrote the book International Trade Balance, published 1932.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G, in 1937.¹ He was created 1st Baron Perry, of Stock Harvard, co.      Frederick William Pethick-Lawrence, 1st and last Baron Pethick-Lawrence was born on 28 December 1871.¹ He was the son of Alfred Lawrence and Mary Elizabeth Ridge.¹ He married Emmeline Pethick, daughter of Henry Pethick, on 2 October 1901.¹ He died on 10 September 1961 at age 89.¹

Surrey [U.K.] on 16 August 1945.¹

     Alfred Lawrence was born on 19 June 1826.¹ He was the son of William Lawrence and Jane Clarke.² He married Mary Elizabeth Ridge, daughter of Henry Ridge, on 27 October 1858.¹ He died on 9 June 1875 at age 48.¹
     He lived at 42 Gloucester Gardens, Bayswater, London, England^G.¹ He was a Commissioner of Lieutenancy for London.¹
