     Sir William Bryan Cooke, 8th Bt. was born on 3 March 1782.¹ He was the son of Sir George Cooke, 7th Bt. and Frances Jory Middleton.² He married Isabella Cecilia Viviana Middleton, daughter of Sir William Middleton, 5th Bt. and Jane Monck, on 8 April 1823.³ He died on 24 December 1851 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Foot Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Cooke, of Wheatley Hall, co. York [E., 1661] on 2 June 1823.¹
