Sir Alexander Elphinstone of Glack, 12th Bt. was born on 6 June 1955.1 He is the son of Sir John Elphinstone of Glack, 11th Bt. and Margaret Doreen Tasker.1 He married Ruth Mary Dunnett, daughter of Reverend Robert Curtis Dunnett, on 9 August 1986.1
He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was a practising solicitor.1 He graduated from St. John's College, Durham University, Durham, County Durham, EnglandG, in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Honours.)1 He lived in 1999 at 43 Lonsdale Rd, Harbe, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Elphinstone, of Logie Elphinstone, co.
