     Lady Catherine FitzGerald was the daughter of Gerald FitzGerald, 9th Earl of Kildare and Elizabeth Zouche.1 She married Jenico Preston, 3rd Viscount Gormanston, son of William Preston, 2nd Viscount Gormanston and Anne Burnell. She married Richard St. Lawrence, 6th Baron Howth, son of Christopher St. Lawrence, 4th Baron Howth and Anne Bermingham, before March 1550.2
     Her married name became Preston.3 After her marriage, Lady Catherine FitzGerald was styled as Viscountess Gormanston on 21 September 1532. From before March 1550, her married name became St. Lawrence.2
