Godard Adrian Henry Jules Bentinck, 9th Graf Bentinck was born on 21 February 1887.1 He was the son of Godard John George Charles Bentinck and Countess Augustine Wilhelmine Louise Adrienne de Bylandt.1 He married, firstly, Jacoba van den Heuvel, daughter of Jacobus Johannes van der Heuvel, on 11 January 1921.1 He married, secondly, Alida Vlieger, daughter of Frits Vlieger, in 1961.1 He died on 5 August 1968 at age 81.1
He succeeded as the 9th Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire, 1732].1 He was am electrotechnical engineer and entomologist.1 He was appointed Knight Commander of the Teutonic Order.1
