Henry Packe, on 5 January 1895.² He died on 30 August 1923 at age 79, without issue.²

     Sir Walter Minto Townsend-Farquhar, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 October 1809.³ He was the son of Sir Robert Townsend-Farquhar, 1st Bt. and Maria Frances Geslip de Lautour.³ He married Erica Catherine Mackay, daughter of Eric Mackay, 7th Lord Reay, on 25 August 1835.³ He died on 18 June 1866 at age 56.³
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Farquhar [U.K., 1821] on 16 March 1830.³ He was with the Diplomatic Service.³

     Erica Catherine Mackay was born illegitimately.¹ She was the daughter of Eric Mackay, 7th Lord Reay.¹ She married Sir Walter Minto Townsend-Farquhar, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Townsend-Farquhar, 1st Bt. and Maria Frances Geslip de Lautour, on 25 August 1835.² She died on 21 January 1899.²
     From 25 August 1835, her married name became Townsend-Farquhar.²

Henry Packe.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Edward Henry Scott, 5th Bt., son of Sir Claude Edward Scott, 3rd Bt. and Mary Buckworth, on 6 June 1865.¹ She married, secondly, Horace Brand Farquhar, 1st and last Earl Farquhar, son of Sir Walter Minto Townsend-Farquhar, 2nd Bt. and Erica Catherine Mackay, on 5 January 1895.¹ She died on 6 April 1922.²
     From before 1895, her married name became Scott.¹ From 5 January 1895, her married name became Farquhar.¹ After her marriage, Emilie Packe was styled as Baroness Farquhar on 20 January 1898. After her marriage, Emilie Packe was styled as Viscountess Farquhar on 21 June 1917.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Packe lived at Twyford Hall, Norfolk, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.² He lived at Harleston, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Robert Walter McShane was born in 1936.¹ He is the son of James Hugh McShane and Frances Jean Sattler.¹ He married Mary Glenn Archer on 10 February 1962.¹
