     Sir John Palmer Bruce Chichester, 1st Bt. was born circa 1794.2 He was the son of Colonel John Palmer Chichester and Agnes Hamilton. He married Caroline Thistlethwayte, daughter of Thomas Thistlethwayte. He died on 20 December 1851.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Cardiganshire between 1831 and 1832.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1831 and 1841.2 He was created 1st Baronet Chichester, of Arlington [U.K.] in 1840.1

     Caroline Elizabeth Chichester was the daughter of Sir John Palmer Bruce Chichester, 1st Bt. and Caroline Thistlethwayte.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir George Clay, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Clay, 1st Bt. and Harriet Dickason, on 8 March 1862.1 She died on 6 April 1873.1
     From 8 March 1862, her married name became Clay.

Sir Charles Oakeley, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Charles Oakeley, 2nd Bt. was born in September 1778.2 He is the son of Sir Charles Oakeley, 1st Bt. and Helena Beatson.2 He married Charlotte Françoise Augusta Gisberte Ramadier, Baroness de Lormet, daughter of Colonel François Auguste Ramadier de Lormet and Sara Cox, on 20 March 1820.2 He died on 30 June 1829 at age 50, without male issue.2
     He was with the Diplomatic Service, serving as Secretary of Legion to Bavaria, Sweden and USA.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Oakeley, of Shrewsbury [G.B., 1790] on 7 September 1826.2

     Mary Caroline Walrond was born on 9 September 1854 at Bradfield House, Uffculme, Devon, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Walrond Walrond, 1st Bt. and Hon. Frances Caroline Hood.1,2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Sir George Clay, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Clay, 1st Bt. and Harriet Dickason, on 5 October 1876 at Tiverton, Devon, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Walter Henry Holbech, son of Reverend Charles William Holbech and Laura Harriet Armytage, on 28 February 1881 at London, England.1 She died on 8 April 1933 at age 78.1
     From 5 October 1876, her married name became Clay. From 28 February 1881, her married name became Holbech.1

     Sybil Mary Clay was born on 18 January 1878.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir George Clay, 3rd Bt. and Mary Caroline Walrond.2 She married Samuel Horace Law, son of Thomas Pakenham Law and Amelia Catharine Rochfort, on 18 July 1905 at St. Thomas, Broad Clyst, Devon, England.1,3 She died on 2 June 1952 at age 74.1
     From 18 July 1905, her married name became Law.

     Thomas Pakenham Law was born on 28 May 1834 at Great Denmark Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was the son of Samuel Law and Sarah Pakenham.2 He married Amelia Catharine Rochfort, daughter of Horace William Noel Rochfort and Hon. Charlotte Hood, on 14 December 1871 at Clogrenane, Clozdah, County Carlow, Ireland.3,2 He died on 30 April 1905 at age 70 at Killbarrack House, Raheny, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)1 He lived at 48 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.3
