     Bridget Winthrop was born circa 1742 at Bandon, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Winthrop and Alicia Wrixon.¹ She married William Maunsell, son of William Maunsell and Alice Norcott, on 4 November 1761.² She died on 23 November 1798.²
     From 4 November 1761, her married name became Maunsell.
