     Dorothy Wynn was born in 1723 at Dyffryn Clwyd Court, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Wynn.¹ She married William Thomas, son of Rhys Thomas and Gaynor Wynn, on 5 October 1745 at Coed-Alyn, Caernarvonshire, Wales^G.¹ She died on 21 December 1786.¹
     From 5 October 1745, her married name became Thomas.¹
