     Ronald Tracey McGarel-Hogg, 4th Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne was born on 3 December 1863.1 He was the son of James MacNaghten McGarel-Hogg, 1st Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne and Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Emma Douglas-Pennant.1 He died on 21 April 1957 at age 93, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hogg, of Upper Grosvenor Street, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1846] on 14 March 1946.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne, co. Antrim [U.K., 1887] on 14 March 1946.1 On his death, his barony became extinct.1
