Hon. Roger Hugh Montgomerie was born on 1 July 1923.1 He was the son of Archibald Seton Montgomerie, 16th Earl of Eglinton and Marjorie McIntyre.1 He died on 7 August 2011 at age 88 at Dunscore, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.

Admiral Sir Charles Hope Dundas of Dundas was born on 9 August 1859.1 He was the son of Adam Alexander Duncan Dundas of Dundas and Charlotte Maria Hope.2 He married Helen Burgess Watson, daughter of Edwin Burges Watson and Mary Wauchope, on 26 May 1897.1 He died on 1 July 1924 at age 64.1
He held the position of 28th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas from in 1904.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 7 November 1905.1 He was Naval Attaché to Tokyo between 1908 and 1910.1 He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun of Japan 2nd class.2 He was Rear-Admiral of the the Nore between 1911 and 1913.2 He was Principal Naval Transport Officer between 1915 and 1917 at FranceG.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1917.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.3 He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM George V in 1920.1
