     Janet Finnie was born after 1786 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Finnie and Janet Muir.¹

     Ann Finnie was born on 3 March 1788 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Finnie and Janet Muir.¹ She married John Carswell on 5 June 1815.¹ She died on 9 December 1857 at age 69 at Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹
     From 5 June 1815, her married name became Carswell.¹

     John Carswell was born on 7 March 1782.¹ He married Ann Finnie, daughter of Archibald Finnie and Janet Muir, on 5 June 1815.¹ He died on 15 February 1831 at age 48.¹

     Janet Muir Carswell was born on 25 January 1823 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Carswell and Ann Finnie.¹ She married George Paxton on 7 June 1848.¹ She died on 27 August 1899 at age 76 at Blacket Place, Newington, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹
     From 7 June 1848, her married name became Paxton.¹

     George Paxton was born on 24 August 1813 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ He married Janet Muir Carswell, daughter of John Carswell and Ann Finnie, on 7 June 1848.¹ He died on 13 July 1866 at age 52.¹
     He was a brewer.²

     Anne Finnie Paxton was born on 9 March 1849 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of George Paxton and Janet Muir Carswell.¹ She married James Clarke Culverwell on 9 March 1871.¹
     From 9 March 1871, her married name became Culverwell.¹

     James Clarke Culverwell was born in 1844 at North Pethertn, Somerset, England^G.¹ He married Anne Finnie Paxton, daughter of George Paxton and Janet Muir Carswell, on 9 March 1871.¹

     George Paxton was born on 1 July 1850 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of George Paxton and Janet Muir Carswell.¹
