Annie Lovel Maydwell is the daughter of Colonel Henry Law Maydwell.2 She married Reverend St. George Henry Wandesford Caulfeild, son of Reverend William Caulfeild and Ellen Smyth, in 1890.1

Lt.-Gen. James Caulfeild was born on 30 January 1782.1 He was the son of Venerable John Caulfeild and Euphemia Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Letitia Stafford, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hugh Stafford, on 14 December 1814.1 He married, secondly, Annie Rachel Blake, daughter of Major unknown Blake, after 1826.1 He died on 4 November 1852 at age 70.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Abingdon.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
He had a son by his first wife, and two other sons by second wife.2
