     William de Cauntelo, 2nd Lord Cauntelo was born in 1293.1 He was the son of William de Cauntelo, 1st Lord Cauntelo and Eve de Bolteby.1 He died circa 1321, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Cauntelo [E., 1299] before 6 August 1308.1 On 30 July 1314 he had livery of his father's lands.1

Sir Nicholas de Cauntelo, 3rd Lord Cauntelo1

     Sir Nicholas de Cauntelo, 3rd Lord Cauntelo was born after 1293.1 He was the son of William de Cauntelo, 1st Lord Cauntelo and Eve de Bolteby.1 He married, firstly, Tiplaine (?)1 He married, secondly, Joan de Littelbury, daughter of Sir Humphrey de Littelbury.1 He died on 31 July 1355.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Cauntelo [E., 1299] circa 1321.1 He was appointed Knight on 19 April 1326.1 He held the office of Keeper of Berwick-on-Tweed on 2 April 1335.1 On 9 December 1343 at Gresley, Derbyshire, EnglandG, he founded the Abbey of Beauvale.1

     Joan de Littelbury was the daughter of Sir Humphrey de Littelbury.2 She married, secondly, Sir Nicholas de Cauntelo, 3rd Lord Cauntelo, son of William de Cauntelo, 1st Lord Cauntelo and Eve de Bolteby.1 She married, firstly, William de Kyme, 2nd Lord Kyme, son of Sir Philip de Kyme, 1st Lord Kyme and Joan le Bigod.1 She died on 16 October 1362, without issue.2
     Her married name became de Kyme.1 Her married name became de Cauntelo.1

     Sir William de Cauntelou, 4th Lord Cauntelo was born before 1325.1 He was the son of Sir Nicholas de Cauntelo, 3rd Lord Cauntelo and Tiplaine (?)1 He married Joan de Welle, daughter of Adam de Welle, 1st Lord Welles and Joan Engaine.1 He died circa 1375, without surviving issue.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Cauntelo [E., 1299] on 31 July 1355.1 On 6 July 1375 he had livery of Middle Claydon, Ellesborough, Greasley and Ilkeston.1
     On his death, his barony by writ would have become extinct.2

     Adam de Welle, 1st Lord Welles was the son of Robert de Welle and Isabel de Periton.2 He married Joan Engaine, daughter of Sir John Engaine and Joan de Greinville, before 1296.3 He died on 1 September 1311.2
     He lived at Well, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.4 He was created 1st Lord Welles [England by writ] on 6 February 1298/99.3
